Registering Neighbourhoods

If you want to tell us about a neighbourhood that we don't know about yet, you can use this form. Even if you're already in contact with us about your neighbourhood, this form might turn out to be the easiest way for you to send us the details of the neighbourhood you're organising.

We're encouraging you to camp with people from your geographical area, rather than people of your own political/cultural/age/ethnic group, to promote communication between all branches of the movement and closer working relationships in each part of Australia. We will support you in forming a neighbourhood for your area if one doesn't already exist. We also realise that there will be a desire for neighbourhoods formed along lines that are not geographical and we will support you in that too. If you don't understand, check the Neighbourhoods Page for details on how the system works or contact us.

Not all questions may relate to your neighbourhood. Answer the ones that suit you.

Here are the main questions:

What you call it may affect whether or not someone thinks they want to join your neighbourhood.

If you answer yes to the 2 questions about publicising your neighbourhood, these details will be published on this website unless you ask us not to.

Examples are a kitchen, a bike repair service, an art installation, an info stall or anything else you think the camp would benefit from.

More Details

This info will help us involve your neighbourhood in the camp's plans better. To add or change information later, just register again using the SAME NEIGHBOURHOOD NAME.

That gives people a feel for how the camp is shaping up, ideas for their own neighbourhood or the opportunity to think about joining yours.

You can have your contacts public or be contacted through us.

We will similarly publish these details unless you ask us not to.
