What to Bring
What individual campers should bring
- your tent and sleeping bag
- warm bedding
- a cup, plate and spoon, etc.
- food (preferably organising with other people you know to bring ingredients that will make a yummy meal)
- the costume you want to be wearing when you represent the climate movement at a public action
- any props, banners or action materials you want to have
- warm clothes
- sensible, moderately waterproof shoes
- your friends
- lots of love for your planet and fellow living creatures
and here are some more things to think about:
- if you want a chair, bring one
- a torch
- rain gear
- a secret stash of yummy food for when you need it
- musical instruments
Things to bring to actions:
- water in a bottle
- snacks
- a pen and paper
- a book, if you're risking being arrested and want something to read at the copshop
- a total absence of illegal stuff or weapons
What Neighbourhoods Should Bring:
- cooking gear including stove, cooking utensils, pots and pans, matches, sharp knives and a bread board
- food for the three days
- tarps and ropes for making your neighbourhood waterproof
- Chairs, rugs, bean bags, and/or other random junk from the side of the road to create a unique and beautiful neighbourhood
- a first aid kit and fire extinguisher
- a big container of water if you're able to
- Fairylights, gas light or other small light
- Eski and ice for any luxury food items that might need to be kept cold
- Sign/banner/boundary with your neighbouhood’s name on it so people can find their home
